Foresight Canada is now accepting applications for its fifth annual Foresight 50, a flagship program that highlights 50 of Canada’s most investible cleantech ventures to a global investor network.
Launched in 2021, the Foresight 50 has helped past cohorts secure over $2.25 billion in investment. These ventures are driving innovation across sectors and accelerating Canada’s transition to a net-zero economy.
“Marking our fifth year of celebrating cleantech through our Foresight 50 underscores a vital reality: shining a bold spotlight on groundbreaking Canadian innovation is crucial now more than ever,” said Jeanette Jackson, CEO of Foresight Canada. “Their ingenuity is beyond inspiring; they are the engine driving clean productivity across our nation, building a stronger and more sustainable future economy for Canada and the world.”
Selected ventures will gain exposure through national media, investor networking opportunities, and participation in the Foresight 50 Showcase, a high-profile in-person event in Calgary this November. They’ll also attend an exclusive Investor Forum, featuring curated panels and networking sessions focused on the future of cleantech capital.
Judging will be conducted by a panel of leading investors, including Olivia Hornby (Spring Impact Capital), Moien Giashi (GreenSky Ventures), Cheri Corbett (BDC), Nikhil Nayer (Rogue Insight Capital), and Dania Moazzam (RBCx). Companies will be evaluated based on investibility, leadership, job creation potential, environmental impact, and likelihood of success.
Foresight invites applications from cleantech ventures at all funding stages—from seed to post-Series B—in areas such as clean energy, carbon capture, sustainable agriculture, and other high-impact sectors.
Interested companies can apply online by June 30, 2025.
