Calgary’s tech community is gearing up to once again take centre stage during Stampede season with the return of the Tech Stampede Social, set for July 9 at National Saloon.
Hosted by Platform Calgary, the event aims to bring together founders, builders, investors, and ecosystem partners for an evening of networking, celebration, and community-building in the heart of Stampede festivities.
Positioned as a “high-wattage” gathering, the Tech Stampede Social is designed to showcase the energy and momentum of Calgary’s rapidly growing innovation ecosystem. Organizers are encouraging companies to bring their teams, welcome out-of-town guests, and introduce new collaborators to the city’s tech scene.
The event reflects Calgary’s emergence as one of North America’s fastest-growing tech markets, a narrative that continues to gain traction both locally and internationally.
Attendees can expect live music, a high-energy atmosphere, and opportunities to connect across the ecosystem—from early-stage startups to established scaleups and corporate partners. Each ticket includes a food item, with additional drinks available for purchase onsite.
This year’s event is supported by key ecosystem partners, including the University of Calgary Faculty of Science as the official community partner and Alberta Innovates as an ecosystem partner, underscoring the collaborative nature of Calgary’s innovation community.
