Kudos is the latest Calgary tech company hit by layoffs.
President & CEO Muni Boga announced the news today, “Earlier this morning we underwent a reorganization, where we said goodbye to some incredibly passionate, talented, and mission-driven Kudosians.”
Founded in 2010, Kudos is an employee engagement, culture, and analytics platform, that harnesses the power of peer-to-peer recognition, values reinforcement, and open communication to help organizations boost employee engagement, reduce turnover, improve culture, and drive productivity and performance.
“As a people-first company founded on driving inclusion and belonging at work, this has been an incredibly difficult time, and undoubtedly even more challenging and confusing for the people affected,” continues Boga on LinkedIn.
In late 2021 Kudos secured a $10 million minority equity investment from the Canadian Business Growth Fund (CBGF) and announced plans to double its workforce to 120 employees across Canada by the end of 2022.
Last year Boga was named one of Canada’s Most Admired CEOs by Waterstone Human Capital.
