Graeme Harrison has joined Calgary’s Harvest Builders as President and is being tasked with setting a new strategic direction that will reorient the studio for future growth and impactful venture building.
Harrison joins the studio with a clear vision that builds upon Harvest’s proven track record of successfully scaling early stage ventures.
As they restructure the team and operations, Harvest will move forward with a renewed focus on studio services and working synergistically with strategic venture partners, like Harvest Venture Partners and Augur, offering entrepreneurs an unparalleled network and set of resources designed to build the next era of influential technology-enabled businesses here in Alberta.
“Harvest has had an incredible track record and history, for which we now have an opportunity to learn and build upon. I’m incredibly optimistic for the future of this studio and impact we can create here in Alberta,” Graeme Harrison, President, Harvest Builders.
Harrison has a long-standing relationship with Harvest, having served as a Board Member since the studio’s inception, and is deeply rooted in Alberta’s entrepreneurial and technology community, as the Past Chair of the Telus Spark Science Centre, the Founder and Director of Nutana Power, and the General Partner at Augur, a venture fund focused on energy transition.
“We started Harvest Ventures Partners as a way to provide generational support to founders, and having allied support within a venture studio provides our founders access to the services, expertise and network needed for them to excel. Graeme’s experience and vision for Harvest’s future will enable our fund and others to offer a competitive advantage to the entrepreneurs we work with,” says Alex Gold, Founder & General Partner, Harvest Venture Partners.
