Innovate Calgary’s Life Sciences Fellowship (LSF) program takes early-stage startups with technology-driven solutions to important problems and adds funding, technology development resources, professional development training and expert support.
Supported by Alberta Innovates; Alberta Ministry of Jobs, Economy and Northern Development; Calgary Economic Development’s Opportunity Calgary Investment Fund; Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada and Prairies Economic Development Canada, the LSF program provides funding and professional development support, including:
- Up to $200,000 in grant funding, including salary support for one founder
- Individualized expert support
- Targeted cohort-based professional development training and community events
- Paid membership to the Life Sciences Innovation Hub in Calgary
