Despite the rapid advancement of modern technological progress, many major businesses around the world and across sectors remain anchored down by outdated legacy components.
Perhaps that is why an Edmonton-based firm combining data science, machine learning, and predictive analytics to create efficient software-as-a-service solutions is among Canada’s fastest growing companies.
Placing 269th on this month’s annual Report on Business ranking of Canada’s Top Growing Companies, OneSoft Solutions saw revenue grow 154% over three years to earn its spot.
“It is an honour to be recognized amongst Canada’s top growth companies,” stated Dwayne Kushniruk, chief executive of OneSoft.
“This is a great way to profile the diversified talent of Canadian businesses,” he added.
OneSoft has developed software technology and products that have capability to transition legacy, on-premises licensed software applications to operate on the Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform.
Meanwhile the company’s subsidiary, OneBridge, assists operators to predict pipeline failures and protect the environment with the assistance of data and AI.
Using an approach coined “Cognitive Integrity Management,” OneBridge lets operators focus on increasing financial performance by standardizing and simplifying internal processes to reduce operational costs and risk.
Launched in 2019, the fifth annual Report on Business list ranks participating private and public Canadian businesses by three-year revenue growth.
425 companies earned a spot on this year’s ranking, including 11 companies based in Edmonton and 25 companies based in Calgary.
Other Edmonton firms ranked include Dr. Phone Fix (10th), capital-laden Jobber (128th), and fintech upstart Trust Science (20th).
Claiming a “clean capital structure” with zero debt, OneSoft trades on the TSX Venture Exchange as OSS.
