Bridging the scale-up gap, Alberta Catalyzer is an early-stage pre-accelerator designed to support startups as they prepare to launch.
The Alberta Catalyzer program is divided into three streams of learning: Engage, Traction, and Velocity. The streams are intentionally designed to support founders at different stages and equip them with resources to help their startup grow.
- Engage turns customer insights into a product ready to be tested
- Traction empowers you to build a robust marketing and sales strategy
- Velocity supercharges your operations, preparing you for investment
Alberta Catalyzer is currently accepting applications for the first cohorts of 2024 with Engage beginning January 23rd, Traction starting February 7th, and Velocity taking off on January 23rd (Calgary) and January 30th (Edmonton).
If you’re an entrepreneur with a company that is preparing to scale and ready to generate exponential growth in operations, apply by January 4th to participate in the Alberta Catalyzer program.
Alberta Catalyzer is a merit based, pre-accelerator, developed and delivered by Platform Calgary and Edmonton Unlimited, with support from partners and organizations across the Alberta Innovation Network. Alberta Catalyzer is part of the Alberta Scaleup and Growth Accelerator Program, led by Alberta Innovates.
The consortium, which also includes Technology and Innovation, Edmonton Unlimited and Prairies Economic Development Canada (PrairiesCan), allocated $35 million over three years to retain business accelerators. It’s part of an overall government goal to help create 20,000 jobs and increase technology firm revenue to $5 billion by 2030.
