SVG Ventures| THRIVE, a Silicon Valley based global agrifood innovation and investment platform has announced the cohort III company selected to receive investment from it’s Pioneer Fund.
Following the conclusion of the third iteration of the THRIVE Canada Accelerator Program the fifteen cohort participants took to the stage to pitch their technology solutions at THRIVE’s Canada III Demo Day in Calgary before a packed audience of technology leaders, innovators and investors.
Calgary’s Verge Technologies emerged as the overall winner, securing investment from the Pioneer Fund.

Verge began operations in 2019 with a mission to develop software that enables farmers to plan, simulate, and validate the movement of equipment in the field and execute field operations efficiently.
Verge has developed software solutions on their Launch Pad Platform, Path Planner & Equipment Explorer, that help farmers manage their land and equipment to efficiently and remotely execute field operations, enabling farming to be truly autonomous.
