Quickly Expands Payment Solutions with Sage Integration to Support Construction Industry Cash Flow

October 31, 2024 by Robert Lewis Leave a Comment

Calgary-based Quickly, a provider of early payment solutions tailored for the construction industry, has launched a new integration with accounting software leader Sage, furthering its commitment to streamline financial operations in the sector.

This integration, now available on the Sage Intacct Marketplace, allows construction companies to automate early payments, enhance payables processes, and improve cash flow management across projects.

Quickly was named one of our 10 Homegrown Calgary Startups to Watch in 2024 after raising a $10 million seed round led by Thin Air Labs last year.

Building on the success of its earlier integration with Sage 300, Quickly’s latest offering brings the advantages of its payment platform to a wider range of customers. By syncing with Sage Intacct, construction businesses can now approve and schedule early payments to suppliers, tapping into discounts of up to 2.5% without disrupting traditional payment timelines. This functionality not only enhances contractor cash flow but also supports suppliers by giving them faster access to funds, strengthening business relationships.

“Our integration with Sage brings even more value to construction businesses,” said Kyle Friedman, Co-Founder and CEO of Quickly. “By simplifying payables and automating early payments, we’re helping general contractors improve their cash flow while supporting their suppliers with faster, more flexible payments.”

This integration syncs billing data between Sage and Quickly’s platform, allowing construction finance teams to manage payments with ease and retain real-time oversight of cash flow. With added reporting tools, companies gain insights crucial for optimizing financial performance, enabling smarter, more proactive management of resources.

Dennis Stejskal, Head of Strategy at Sage Construction & Real Estate, underscored the integration’s benefits for subcontractors and general contractors alike. “Quickly streamlines efficiency by offering subcontractors faster payment options with no risk to general contractors. It’s a win-win, improving cash flow for subcontractors and boosting overall project success.”

Available to construction businesses in the U.S. and Canada, Quickly’s integration with Sage Intacct promises to bolster financial resilience and operational efficiency in an industry that thrives on timely payments and smooth supplier relationships.
