A select group of senior executives from Alberta’s energy, infrastructure, cloud, and AI sectors will gather at Platform Calgary for the Energy & AI Data Centre Executive Breakfast, a high-level event designed to spark collaboration on the province’s next wave of digital infrastructure.
Hosted on the KPMG Pitch Stage during Calgary Stampede week, the breakfast will draw over 100 industry leaders for a morning of networking, strategic conversation, and early positioning ahead of Future Summit 2025, scheduled for November 18–20.
With AI compute demand surging globally, Alberta is poised to play a pivotal role thanks to its energy assets, expanding data centre ecosystem, and appetite for innovation. The July 2nd event will feature welcome remarks by Future Summit’s Josh Rainbow, a fireside chat on the convergence of energy and AI infrastructure, and curated networking to foster cross-sector partnerships.
Organizers describe the event as a chance to “convene those building the grid, financing the expansion, and deploying next-gen technology” ahead of major announcements expected later this year.
