Calgary Launch Party is looking for the city’s next generation of standout startups.
Nominations and applications are now open for the Calgary Launch Party Top 10, the city’s annual showcase for promising early-stage companies building with bold ideas, early traction, and global ambition.
Now in its 16th year, Launch Party has become a milestone moment for Calgary’s startup ecosystem, spotlighting up-and-coming entrepreneurial talent while giving the broader community a chance to rally behind local founders.
To be considered, startups must be tech-enabled, product-based companies that are incorporated and headquartered in Calgary. They must also demonstrate traction, have a product in market, be under four years old, and have more than half of their team based in Calgary.
Nominations are open and applications close July 16. Finalists will be announced September 14, ahead of the Calgary Innovation Week Pitch Showcase on November 2 and Launch Party on November 5.
For founders, the recognition goes beyond a one-night event. Launch Party Top 10 alumni become part of Calgary’s startup history, gaining visibility, year-round engagement opportunities, first-look speaking spots, ecosystem delegations, and access to a tight-knit community of builders and supporters.
