Calgary-based tech firm StackDX is marking its third anniversary with a major milestone and a new identity. The company has officially rebranded its suite of energy sector software products under a unified StackDX banner, celebrating the moment with the announcement of its 50th enterprise client.
StackDX’s platform is now used by more than 40% of Canadian oil and gas producers, based on production volume, to manage complex documents, map public and proprietary data, and automate key workflows.
Originally formed through the merger of Petro Niche Technology (founded in 2016) and Working Interest (founded in 2020), StackDX has become a trusted name in oil and gas technology. Its new brand architecture simplifies and strengthens its offerings: StackDX Maps (formerly Petro Ninja), StackDX Intel (formerly BOE Intel), and StackDX for content and document management.
The rebrand, live now at stackdx.com, reflects the company’s long-term vision to streamline complexity and accelerate decision-making in the energy industry.
“This evolution isn’t just about a new look,” said the company in a statement. “It’s about delivering a more connected experience that showcases the unique value StackDX brings to the rapidly evolving energy landscape.”
With industry adoption accelerating, the rebrand signals a new era for the Calgary-based company as it positions itself at the forefront of digital transformation in oil and gas.
