March 19, 2025 by Newsdesk Leave a Comment

Calgary’s Blackline Safety, a global leader in connected safety technology, has been named to Fast Company’s prestigious list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies of 2025.

The annual ranking celebrates organizations driving progress across industries through bold innovation, with this year’s honorees including Waymo, Nvidia, and Kraft Heinz.

Blackline earned its spot on the list for revolutionizing workplace safety through its real-time monitoring solutions, which help organizations prevent incidents, respond faster, and make data-driven safety decisions.

“We’re proud to be recognized by Fast Company for leading the transformation of workplace safety,” said Cody Slater, CEO and Chair of Blackline Safety. “Every day, over 160,000 workers around the world return home safely because their employers trust Blackline’s technology to protect them in hazardous environments.”

The company’s safety solutions include connected wearables, portable area monitors, and cloud-based software that provide live monitoring, automatic incident alerts, and location-based insights. In 2024, Blackline expanded its offerings with the launch of the EXO 8 area monitor, designed for rapid deployment and advanced gas and gamma detection in industrial and emergency response settings.

Fast Company’s World’s Most Innovative Companies list recognizes industry trailblazers redefining business through creativity, technology, and impact. Blackline Safety’s inclusion underscores its role in shaping the future of workplace safety with cutting-edge, lifesaving solutions.
