Have a breakthrough idea for the aerospace sector? If you’re ready to launch your solution but need a boost, Calgary’s Aerospace Accelerator Program (AAP) may be the runway you’re looking for.
Backed by Opportunity Calgary Investment Fund and Prairies Economic Development Canada, the two-year accelerator is designed to propel early-stage startups with technology-driven solutions. It combines non-dilutive funding, world-class R&D infrastructure, and tailored support from industry veterans.
Partners include WestJet, the Calgary Airport Authority, and Chapter AI Ventures, bringing deep sector knowledge and potential collaboration opportunities to the table.
Program Highlights:
- Up to $200,000 in non-dilutive funding
- Expert coaching and tailored startup training
- Access to prototyping and testing facilities at the Aerospace Innovation Hub
- Help developing a robust IP strategy, including patent and licensing support
While the funding is a game-changer, the ecosystem around it—mentorship, infrastructure, and real-world connections—is what helps founders go further, faster.
Applications are open until September 30th. If you’re building the future of aerospace, now’s the time to take flight.
