Platform Calgary is putting Proptech in the spotlight ahead of the 2025 Calgary Real Estate Forum with a new event connecting startups, investors, and industry leaders.
The Proptech Showcase, taking place October 28 from 2-5pm on the KPMG Pitch Stage, will highlight how technology is transforming the real estate sector—from transactions and development to management, financing, and sustainability. The event aims to bridge industry challenges with innovative digital solutions emerging from Alberta’s growing Proptech ecosystem.
The program will be emceed by Lynette Keyowski of Reach Canada and feature a panel discussion titled “Bridging the Gap Between Industry and Technology” with Rob Blackwell (Aspen Properties), Matt Carlson (Floorspace), and Kate Thomson (Calgary Municipal Land Corporation).
Attendees will also see five Proptech startups pitch their cutting-edge solutions live on stage before wrapping up with a networking reception for founders, investors, and real estate professionals.
Earlier in the day, ZS2 Technologies will host exclusive facility tours offering a behind-the-scenes look at Calgary’s innovation in construction and property technology.
