Slalom is expanding its presence in Calgary with the opening of a new downtown office designed to support hiring, client work, and continued growth across Alberta.
The consulting firm, which focuses on strategy, technology, and business transformation, announced the grand opening of a 12,000-square-foot office in Calgary’s core business district this week. The new space marks a significant expansion for Slalom in Western Canada as demand grows from clients looking to modernize operations and adopt new technologies.
The office includes dedicated client areas and flexible workspaces designed to support hybrid work, collaboration, and future growth. Slalom said the investment will help the firm attract and retain talent in Alberta while deepening its engagement with clients across the province.
“Calgary is one of Canada’s preeminent business and tech centres,” said Iaan McAullay, Managing Director and Alberta Market Leader at Slalom. “Slalom in Calgary has grown rapidly over the past few years to support customers in key sectors like aerospace, energy, financial services, and public sector as they modernize operations and adopt new technologies.”
McAullay said the expansion will allow Slalom to better serve clients, support its growing local team, and create more opportunities for innovation and partnership in Calgary.
The company’s new office also points to Calgary’s continued evolution as a hub for business transformation, enterprise technology, and digital talent. As major employers across energy, finance, aerospace, and government invest in modernization, consulting and technology firms are building local capacity to support that shift.
Megan Zimmerman, VP of Trade and Investor Experience at Calgary Economic Development, called Slalom’s new space “a strong signal of Calgary’s evolving business landscape.”
“By investing in a space that can accommodate their growing team, Slalom is helping to drive local job creation and support our broader vision for a vibrant, innovative city,” Zimmerman said.
Brookfield Properties, which welcomed Slalom into its downtown Calgary portfolio, said the move reflects demand for high-quality office space that supports growth and collaboration.
Slalom said the new office will support continued hiring in Calgary across consulting, technology, and business roles.
Founded in Seattle, Slalom operates 54 offices across 12 countries and works with Global 1000 companies, enterprise and mid-market clients, and more than 500 public-sector organizations.
