A job title can say what someone does without revealing the full range of what they can do.
Calgary startup Leeg is building a workforce intelligence platform that connects employees’ development with a clearer picture of an organization’s capabilities.
Its approach starts with an individual app. Employees work through personalized development activities, reflect on their experiences and build evidence of skills demonstrated in everyday work. Leeg’s employer-facing tools are designed to surface strengths, gaps and opportunities across the workforce.
The company is led by four co-founders: CEO Bri Falls, Chief Growth Officer Shannon Burch, Vice-President of Product Celene Campbell and Head of Business Operations Emma Brown.
Leeg’s model aims to make development useful to both sides of the employment relationship. Individuals build a record of their abilities, while organizations gain information to guide development, internal mobility and staffing decisions.
The company describes that individual record as a personal player card that stays with its owner. Its enterprise proposition includes identifying existing internal skills and recognizing potential retention concerns earlier.
For employers, the intended benefit is a more informed view of the people already on their teams. For employees, the value lies in turning work that might otherwise go unnoticed into something they can use in development and career conversations.
Leeg is among Platform Calgary’s 2026 Launch Party Top 10. Launch Party, presented by Float, takes place November 5 at the Platform Innovation Centre.
