Inventures is set to return to Calgary this month.
Following a successful event in 2024, Inventures is back to deliver more networking and knowledge opportunities for Alberta’s innovation ecosystem.
Emceed by Toast cofounder April Hicke, Inventures 2025 will feature an armada of notable sessions.
To help those with analysis paralysis, Alberta Innovates this week handpicked a dozen desirable options for attendees.
“With hundreds of world-class speakers, cutting-edge panels, and thought-provoking keynotes, Inventures 2025 is packed with insight,” the organization states. “We’ve curated 12 can’t-miss sessions that will set the tone for innovation this year.”
These suggested sessions include “Strengthening Carbon Markets” and “Securing the Right Investor” on May 21, as well as “The Rise of Deep Tech” and “What Investors Want” on May 22.
Recommended sessions on May 23 include “The Human-Robot Colleagues,” “Beyond Earth’s Orbit,” and “Staying Competitive: Upskilling with AI”—a topic that is often discussed on TechTalent.ca.
And these are “just the highlights,” according to Alberta Innovates.
If you need even more reasons—Hicke as emcee wasn’t enough icing on the cake?—then we shall remind the reader that serial entrepreneur and author Gary Vaynerchuk will serve the event as a keynote speaker.
At Inventures, the bustling builder will share his expertise on navigating disruption, staying atop industry trends, and building brands that thrive in evolving marketplaces.
Inventures 2025 takes over BMO Centre at Stampede Park May 21st through 23rd.
