Innovation Week showcases the diversity and depth of what’s happening in innovation and technology in Calgary and celebrates the people and the ideas that are having an impact.
The signature event of Innovation Week is Launch Party, Calgary’s largest startup-focused showcase of the year.
Taking place on November 23rd, Launch Party will celebrate and highlight ten promising Calgary startups who are battling for three trophies — the Alumni’s Choice Award, the Alex Raczenko Pitch Award, and the People’s Choice Award.
The selected Launch Party Top 10 Startups receive valuable recognition like this as well as opportunities to share their stories during Innovation Week, connect with investors and win one of three awards and prize packs.
Last year the Alumni’s Choice Award was won by Caret, a tenant experience platform offering all-encompassing communication, booking, and work order solutions built by real estate professionals for real estate professionals.
NanoTess continued their winning streak with the Alex Raczenko Pitch Award. NanoTess is a social enterprise tackling high rates of amputations with NanoSALV technology, an advanced wound dressing for the management of chronic wounds.
The People’s Choice Award was won by Propra. Propra offers an end-to-end property management solution focused on improving the rental management process for both landlords and tenants.
