A company based in Calgary is collecting real-time data from thousands of Canadian retail websites to offer a repository of trends and consumer insight for those seeking to leverage actionable intelligence into a business advantage.
Neobi says its tech is trusted by top-performing teams in Canadian cannabis to provide a data solution that addresses their most pressing needs: which products are sold the most, and where?
“After years of working within the Canadian Cannabis industry, we know that not all data needs are the same,” the Alberta startup says, and “neither are all data solutions.”
In order to support companies of all shapes and sizes, the founders say have “created a suite of data solutions designed to empower Sales Agents, Managers and Executives with the retail trend and consumer insights they need to get strategic in their approach.”
The suite of features is menu platform agnostic and includes daily data updates as well as data by categories such as beverages. An interactive dashboard, retail maps, and market alerts keep insights on the radar while monthly reports allow businesses to track progress.
“We empower sales teams with the critical insights they need to boost distribution and penetration based on retail trends and real-time purchasing behaviours,” the company says, achieving this goal through real-time price tracking, historical inventory analysis, and detailed consumer data.
Neobi was this week named as one of Calgary’s 10 most promising startups ahead of Innovation Week’s signature event, Launch Party powered by Platform Calgary.
The top 10 companies are nominated by the Calgary innovation community and selected by a committee of Launch Party alumni. To be selected, companies must be in operation for less than three years, be revenue positive, and demonstrate potential for growth.
Launch Party will be hosted at the The Big Four Roadhouse on November 23.
