Now in its third year, the Foresight 50 program has recognized a variety of amazing cleantech ventures.
Last year Alberta accounted for one-third of the companies on the list and this year the cleantech hub of Calgary is home to the two-day event to connect, invest, and celebrate the most investible cleantech ventures in Canada.
Among the cleantechs recognized by the Foresight 50 in 2022 were Carbon Upcycling, Galatea Technologies, HEMPALTA, and Summit Nanotech.
Labelled as a Foresight 50 Celebration, day one is where they’ll announce the 2023 Foresight 50 – the most investible cleantech ventures from across Canada who are leading the charge to net zero. This event is open to the public and takes place at The Ampersand in downtown Calgary.
Each Foresight 50 Honouree will have one minute to pitch their game-changing climate solution to the audience, followed by a networking reception where attendees will have a chance to connect directly with these leading innovators.
Among the speakers at the celebration are Zack Storms of Startup TNT, Drew Moxon of Summit Nanotech, Arleigh Vasconcellos of The Agency, and Foresight Canada’s leader Jeanette Jackson.
Day two consists of an exclusive investor forum where cleantech investors from across the country will gather for an informative conference in the morning, followed by curated 1:1 matchmaking sessions in the afternoon with this year’s Foresight 50 Honourees.
