It’s in the name: Long View wants to stick around for the next century and beyond.
The Calgary-based information technology solutions firm has an “opportunity to be a force for good in the world,” according to its leadership.
The Canadian company believes that the approach to longevity is not solely about maximizing profits, but also considering the impact of operations on employees, customers, and communities.
Along the company’s path to leaving the world a better place, Long View Systems recently won the Scale Solutions Microsoft Americas Partner of the Year Award.
The recognition from Microsoft hails from Long View demonstrating innovation and successfully delivering customer solutions using Microsoft technologies.
“We are thrilled and deeply honoured to receive this prestigious recognition from Microsoft,” stated Brent Allison, who took over from founder Dan Bialik as chief executive officer in 2019.
The Microsoft Americas Partner of the Year Awards acknowledge partners who have created exceptional Microsoft-based solutions, services, and devices in the past year. Honourees were selected from a pool of over 2,000 nominations.
“As we continue to grow, we express our gratitude to our valued clients, our 1,300 dedicated team members, and the exceptional Microsoft professionals whose support made this award possible,” Allison added. “This achievement holds great significance for us, and we sincerely appreciate everyone’s support.”
The Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards will be announced at the Americas Start for Partners event on July 12th.
“It is with great excitement that we celebrate the winners and finalists of the 2024 Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards,” stated Microsoft’s Nina Harding, Corporate Vice President for Americas Global Partner Solutions. “These incredible partners showcased their innovation and collaboration which have fostered customer success . . . and transformed businesses on the Microsoft Cloud.”
Long View Systems was founded in 1999. By 2006, the Calgary company had expanded across North America with offices in Vancouver, Edmonton, and the US.
