Calgary-based Helcim, a payment solutions provider for small and medium-sized businesses, has announced a partnership with Toronto’s PatientSERV to simplify payment management for healthcare providers.
The collaboration brings Helcim’s Smart Terminal API to PatientSERV’s EMR-integrated platform, providing secure and convenient payment options tailored for the healthcare industry.

With Helcim’s technology, healthcare providers can manage card-present payments, even when patients aren’t physically present. The PatientSERV integration allows for efficient, real-time payment collection, helping Ontario physicians access a 5% to 10% income boost through reliable, convenient billing.

Helcim recently launched a new Recurring Payments tool designed to streamline billing for businesses and eliminate the need for manual invoicing, as well as Tap to Pay on iPhone.
