Calgary proptech startup Bōde has announced new strategic support from AWS Startups, a division of Amazon Web Services, to accelerate its expansion across Canada and into international markets.
Founded in 2019, Bōde is a digital real estate platform that enables homeowners to list, market, negotiate, and sell directly online—supported by transparent data, digital contracts, and optional professional services. The company also provides solutions for builders to list in-development inventory with advanced analytics.
“With secure, scalable cloud infrastructure anchored in the AWS Canada West (Calgary) Region, Bōde is well positioned to take its platform for homeowners, builders, and investors to new heights,” the company said in its announcement.
Through the AWS collaboration, Bōde will leverage cloud infrastructure and AI tools to modernize a process still reliant on legacy systems.

“AWS is proud to support Bōde using AI to modernize and streamline the home buying and selling journey,” said Connor Aylwin, Sales Leader, AWS Canada.
Bōde CEO Robert Price added: “Selling your home should be as convenient as booking a flight online—simple, fast, and entirely on your terms. As an AI-first company, we’re modernizing real estate to ease the financial pressures on Canadian households, helping them keep more of their equity while saving thousands in commissions.”
Since launch, Bōde has facilitated the sale of more than 2,400 homes, representing $1.4 billion CAD in property value. The company raised $1 million from Thin Air Labs in 2024 to enhance its services and expand across Canada and into select U.S. markets.
Currently available in Alberta, British Columbia, and the Greater Toronto Area, Bōde plans further Canadian and U.S. expansion with global ambitions on the horizon.
Co-founded by Robert Price, Lindsay Skabar, Jeff Jackson, and Alan Kelly, Bōde has quickly become one of Calgary’s most recognized startups. Earlier this year, it was named one of Calgary.tech’s 10 Homegrown Startups to Watch in 2025.
