Calgary-based Brilliant Harvest has raised USD $4 million in seed financing to scale its AI-powered customer experience platform for heavy equipment dealerships, as adoption across North America continues to accelerate.
The round includes new investors FTW Ventures, Alpaca VC, Automotive Ventures, SVG Ventures, and NYA Ventures, alongside returning backers Builders VC and AltaML. Brilliant Harvest was also named to Calgary.tech’s Startups to Watch list for 2025.
The financing follows rapid growth in the heavy equipment dealer market. Brilliant Harvest says its platform now supports dealerships representing more than 50 percent of CNH Industrial’s large dealer stores, signaling growing confidence in AI-driven knowledge systems as a core layer of dealership operations. Despite the pace of adoption, the company says it has remained capital-efficient as it scales.
That traction is reinforced by multiyear renewals with Rocky Mountain Equipment (RME)—one of Western Canada’s largest agricultural equipment dealers—and Titan Machinery, validating the platform’s ability to deliver measurable operational efficiency at scale.
Brilliant Harvest bridges the gap between physical machinery and digital intelligence by ingesting millions of pages of technical manuals, millions of work orders, and conversational data to provide instant, accurate answers to technicians, service teams, and aftermarket staff.
“We didn’t build a chatbot; we built an industrial-grade infrastructure layer for dealerships,” said Remi Schmaltz, Founder and CEO of Brilliant Harvest. “When progressive dealerships across CNH, AGCO, and Kubota adopt the platform quickly, it shows the industry is ready for AI tools they can trust in high-stakes environments. This capital allows us to deepen our market leadership and roll out high-value products beyond service teams.”
The investor syndicate reflects the company’s position at the intersection of agriculture, automotive, and industrial technology. FTW Ventures brings experience modernizing legacy industrial systems, Automotive Ventures adds deep connectivity across dealership networks, while Alpaca VC, SVG Ventures, and NYA Ventures contribute expertise in scaling B2B and ag-tech platforms.
“Brilliant Harvest has cracked the code on support deflection in a way we rarely see,” said Steve Greenfield, General Partner at Automotive Ventures. “Dealers are overwhelmed by low-value calls that hurt service absorption rates. Brilliant Harvest eliminates those interruptions so technicians can focus on billable work while customers get answers on first contact.”
Unlike generic large language models, Brilliant Harvest relies on a proprietary ingestion engine combined with a human-in-the-loop verification layer, ensuring that specifications, part numbers, and service data remain accurate and OEM-compliant as the platform expands across dealership workflows.
