Calgary’s Nureva is hitting the road to showcase its next-generation audio platform, giving customers a firsthand look at a system designed to redefine how sound performs in large spaces.
The company announced its HDX on Tour event series, a multi-city roadshow across Europe and North America that will spotlight the upcoming Nureva® HDX line of full-featured audio systems. The new platform, expected to launch in summer 2026, targets larger environments such as lecture halls, conference rooms, and flexible meeting spaces.
The tour begins April 15 in Zurich, with additional stops planned through June in major cities including Paris, London, Manchester, Munich, Cologne, and Las Vegas. Nureva will also host a Calgary event, offering local resellers and end users an early preview of the system. A second phase of the tour is scheduled for the fall, expanding to additional cities across both continents.
HDX represents a notable evolution in Nureva’s audio technology. The system combines full-room microphone coverage with full-range distributed audio, alongside features like Adaptive Voice Lift and Adaptive Voice Amplification. It also includes assistive listening capabilities via Auracast broadcast audio and supports divisible room automation—reflecting the growing need for flexible, multi-use spaces.
Positioned as an IT-centric solution, HDX is designed to simplify deployment while reducing total cost of ownership. Nureva is emphasizing ease of installation and maintenance as key differentiators, particularly for enterprise and higher education customers managing increasingly complex audio environments.
The HDX on Tour events will feature live demonstrations, product education sessions, and discussions around real-world use cases. Attendees will be able to explore how the system performs in practice, with a focus on both technical capabilities and deployment considerations.
“HDX represents an important step forward in what customers can expect from full-room, full-range distributed audio performance, and there’s no better way to understand its value than to experience it in person,” said Nancy Knowlton, Nureva’s CEO. “With the HDX on Tour event series, we’re creating opportunities for our channel members and end users to engage directly, ask questions, explore use cases and see how HDX can support their larger classrooms and meeting spaces.”
For Calgary’s tech ecosystem, the local stop on the tour underscores Nureva’s continued role as a homegrown innovator with global reach—developing enterprise-grade solutions while maintaining strong ties to its headquarters city.
