CDW Canada has officially opened a new Calgary tech hub as the company deepens its investment in Western Canada.
Located at The District at Beltline, the office houses CDW Canada’s 24/7 National Operations Centre and brings together leaders in cybersecurity, managed services, and artificial intelligence.
The new hub will give organizations in Calgary and across Alberta more direct access to technology experts supporting projects involving cloud computing, cybersecurity, AI, hybrid infrastructure, and modern workplace technology.
“CDW has had roots in Calgary since 1991,” said Ginette Adragna, Vice President and General Manager of CDW Canada. “This proximity brings us closer to the customers and partners we work with, enabling stronger collaboration and more localized delivery.”
The company works with organizations across Alberta’s energy, financial services, government, education, and healthcare sectors, providing hardware, software, consulting, and managed services.
CDW says its Calgary team will help customers move technology projects from strategy and pilot programs into wider deployment. That includes integrating complex IT environments, embedding security throughout the technology lifecycle, identifying practical AI workflows, and improving performance through ongoing monitoring and managed services.
The expansion arrives as organizations face growing pressure to adopt artificial intelligence while also responding to cybersecurity threats, governance requirements, and increasingly complicated technology environments.
Kevin Santos, Head of Enterprise Sales Calgary at CDW Canada, said the local team will be supported by the company’s national organization as it helps Alberta customers adopt new technologies, strengthen security, and pursue growth.
The office also incorporates distinctly Albertan touches, with local artwork displayed throughout the space, meeting rooms named after destinations in the Canadian Rockies, and a signature hat rack greeting visitors at the entrance.
