Three firms from Alberta have made this year’s edition of the CRN Tech Elite list.
Since 2011, the CRN Tech Elite list annually recognizes top IT solution providers in North America, highlighting companies that achieve the highest levels of vendor certifications and demonstrate an ability to deliver advanced technology solutions in areas like cloud computing, security, and data centre services.
This year, only a select few Canadian entities cracked the list, but breaking it down by province, Alberta made a strong showing with three representatives: Arctiq, iON United, and Long View Systems.
All three companies are from Calgary, the province’s primary tech hub.
Originally founded in 2003 as DynTek, Arctiq is an enterprise security and digital transformation company that makes technology simpler for businesses across North America by keeping systems safe from hackers, updating old tech to work in the cloud, and helping companies build their own software.
The Canadian company has made the CRN Elite 250 every year since; in fact, in 2024 Arctiq earned CRN’s coveted Triple Crown Award, which goes to companies who were honoured on the Solution Provider 500, the Fast Growth 150, and the Tech Elite 250 in the same year.
Paul Kerr, CEO of Arctiq, stated last year that the Triple Crown achievement was “a reflection of our team’s relentless focus on innovation and client success.”
Long View Systems, founded in 1999, also operates in the cloud services and cybersecurity spaces, collaborating with major names like Microsoft (Long View last year won the Scale Solutions Microsoft Americas Partner of the Year Award).
Since Robert Zagorsky founded iON United in 2003, the Alberta firm has been delivering reputable cybersecurity solutions to customers across Canada and beyond.
CRN is owned by The Channel Company, a media and events organization in the IT space based in Massachusetts since 1982.
